Karim Benzema to Manchester United

Says the world’s greatest newspaper, in an exclusive which also appears in the NOTW, in a separate (an apparently unrelated) un-exclusive.  It’s not news that Benzema’s been on Fergie’s radar, and some kind of Bait and Switch involving Real and Carlos Tevez could mean the French superstar does arrive at Old Trafford in the summer.  To us, it would seem those are the only 2 clubs with the financial and brand equity that could attact Benzema, so I’d expect to see this go through.

    i think benzema is a brilliant player and has ability to score from angles which most strikers cant even score from. i like tevez a lot but he isnt realy a goals score.he doesnt score goals in every match. Tevez works for the team and he likes to assist his team mates instead of scoring. id like to have Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez and Benzema on a team together. one problem Alex Ferguson done is buy Dimitar Berbtov for the amound he did. he i a total waste of space in the united team and a waist of money. he a load of rubbish and all he does is fiddle with his hair band which keeps his hair up. he doesnt work for the team and doesnt held defend and you see the likes of rooney and tevez or for the ball and help there wingers.he sit on his ass all the day.hope amn utd sell berbatov and buy Benzema and keep off tevez anothe rload deal and also snap up aguero

    Why is Benzema held in such high regard? Every time I’ve seen him he’s doene nothing (both for France & Lyon in the Champions League) and lets face it, my great grandmother could score goals in the French League, despite being dead! I suppose he’d be ideal for the Mancs though as he’ll no doubt cost £30m + and not score many goals, souns like someone else we know eh?!

    Hah, funny you should say that. I think the arguement for Benzema is similar to the one for you know who. He has all the attributes to make an amazing footballer, yet something seems to be missing.

    He won’t sign for Man U this season, so we’ll have to wait another year or two to see how he fares against the boltons and stokes of the world.

    Now that 59% of the supporters are saying that they are likely not to get a new season card, which is the record in the premier league i can’t imagine what will become with the club, it’s all about profit for the Glazer family, they keep forgetting that the fans are not happy and that is the most important thing imo.
