The Guardian rumours that this transfer is back on. It’s been shuffling around the traps for a while. Instinct would suggest that Fergie is going to have to lose one of his front 4 in order to land this fish, Tevez would be the logical person to be outgoing, but with Asshole Ronaldo still fluttering his effeminate lashes in Real Madrid’s direction, perhaps there could be 2 out, 1 in at Old Trafford in the summer.

But then where would Rooney play? Interesting conundrum, but one that most managers in the world would murder to be able to try to resolve.

    As much as we like Tevez, he is not worth 25M. Benzema is well worth 30M. Ronaldo is not going anywhere. Next season, Welbeck and Macheda will be good enough for squad rotation. That is 5 attackers (counting Berbatov, not counting Ronaldo as an attacker). Benzema can play deep, so he could be used as an attacking midfielder when needed, so that’s good. Hargreaves will be back. Scholes and Giggs will be old, but I guess they would still be able to deliver. So Carrick, Hargreaves, Anderson, Fletcher, Scholes, Giggs, Benzema… do we need another central midfielder? (If you haven’t guessed yet, I’m trying to see how we can improve on our central midfield, we do not want to meet up with Xabi and Iniesta again and be short on options once more… God no!). I think we’ll be fine with these. But I wouldn’t mind another world class central midfielder. (I forgot to count Possebon and Gibson, maybe one of these two will flourish next year… who knows… I think we’re good, we don’t need another central midfielder… just better tactics maybe? without offending any Sirs?…)
    Now let’s take a look at the wide people. Park is good, Ronaldo is good, hopefully Nani will get better. Giggs and Fletcher can play wide, although I wouldn’t count too much on it. There’s Tosic, don’t know what he’s worth… There’re Welbeck and Rooney who can do that, although I personally wouldn’t go down that road again… I think we need to buy a new winger.
    Now let’s take a look at the defense. Vidic, Ferdinand, Evans’ proven himself. Brown can be called upon. O’Shea is decent in the middle. Neville isn’t. Maybe a young promising defender? or do we have that in the reserves? Reece Brown? Craig Cathcart?
    Now let’s take a look on the right. Neville can still do it. Brown is good. Rafael’s done a good job. And there’s Mr. Versatility, O’Shea. I think we’re safe on the right. On the left, we got Evra who’s fantastic. O’Shea’s a very good cover. There’s Fabio, who should be good enough for a third choice? And De Laet? And Eckersley? Are these fellas up to it? We can give them a try.

    So, to sum up, all we need is a very good winger, and Benzema. And Tevez… it’s a shame, but it’s over.

    ok Manchester united lost ronaldo and tevez.
    Last 3 years won once champions league and 3 times the premier league.
    Isnt it shame for 1 club who won all the titles to lose all the players and buy ,what bought? nothing really.
    Manchester united and fergie and glazers should and MUST immediately buy Benzema , he is fast,drible,shoot power like none alse,conforatble for united ,he plays MU’s game, elegant,everything.
    After Benzema an replacement for ronaldo, i suggest one of Ashley Young/Arjen Robben/aguero. BUT forget ribery. no need of him.

    Benzema would be a good addition, but it doesn’t look likely that he’s going to move this year. Not sure why you wouldn’t want Ribery.

    Aguero is nothing like Ronaldo, he’s an out and out striker.

    Valencia’s coming in the next week or so.

    Hopefully the red devils will pull it through today in the match against milan, to bad about the new owner and the glazer family casting a shadow over the great club, but that still don’t ruin the fun.
