With the apparent resolution of the Ronaldo to Real palaver, the equally wearisome Barry to Liverpool situation seems to be drawing to the close, with the shocking conclusion that “nothing’s going to happen”.

By my count this little rumour has appeared 135 times on the beeb in the last few months, and here’s the latest on the issue form Rafa

Hmm, clear as mud.  Anyway, if I were a betting man, I’d not be putting money on this one going through in this window.
