Bolton Summer 2009 Transfer Window Preview

Who they need

A bit of muscle and craft in midfield, the Trotters haven’t managed to replace Kevin Nolan since his idiotic decision to sign for the barcodes.  Miguel Veloso remains a long term target, but there’s almost zero chance his going to sign.  As a result they’ve been looking at less high end replacements, in the form of Sean Davis, and a bunch of yard dogs like Lee Cattermole, Joey Barton & Jimmy Bullard.  Some defensive depth wouldn’t go astray either.

Bolton have performed well under Megson, if they bring in the right people, this should continue.
