Please let asshole ronaldo leave this summer
The papers are abuzz with the news that Asshole Ronaldo may be finally leaving these shores, and taking his whiney ass to Real Madrid. Or not.
As usually we have a massive variety of stories from each of the venerable institutions that form the British press.
The Sun is adamant that he’s on his way, although if you read beyond their headline you’ll realise that the premise is dubious at best:
The stroppy star’s confrontational remarks after the Champions League final loss are certain to put him on a collision course with Alex Ferguson.
So they don’t have any real insight, they’re just making assumptions based on remarks that are of public record. Good job NEIL CUSTIS and IAN McGARRY. Unsurprisingly we can completely discount the Sun’s article.
The Tele has a different spin on things, “claiming that he intends to go on holiday before deciding on where he wants to play”. At least they’ve bothered to get quotes from the horses ass, rather than making stuff up, yes that is a dig at The Sun.
The Indy agrees with the Telegraph, but adds that Real’s interest in and bid for Franck Ribery may have sated their thirst for the Plastic Git.
Finally our good friends at the Daily Express take things to their illogical conclusion saying that “Cristiano Ronaldo is officially off Real Madrid’s radar”, based on remarks that Perez, the only remaining Real Madrid presidential candidate, said at a press conference.
The reality of the situation is likely to be that he will end up at Real. After Barcelona won the treble this season, Real are going to spend a metric shitload of money this summer. Sid Lowe at the Guardian suggests that they will bid for him, but towards the end of summer as Perez wants to differentiate himself from his predecessor Ramon Calderon’s quixotic attempts to sign the asshole.
Needless to say we’ll be glad when he’s gone.

The article in no way criticizes his talent, just his personality.
No one thinks Rooney is the best English player.
Your assertion that Rooney wanted to leave Man U and play for Spain or Italy is very funny, but clearly nonsense.

Mr.Ghost was a little bit offensive, but is 100% right, your remarks about Cristiano Ronaldo, specially when calling him asshole is biased and makes a cheap prejudgement about a person that’s from a different country of yours.

What a ridiculous load of nonsense from “KoolMax” and “Ghost.” Bloggers are entitled to say what they want about the subject they choose to write about. You don’t have to read it if you don’t like it!
Ronaldo – if you have seen his behaviour on the pitch or off, is clearly an asshole But no one is saying he isn’t a talented player.
From both your comments you seem to assume that the author of the orginal article is British and has a preference for British players whereas I reckon he just prefers players who aren’t complete idiots. (It has nothing to do with what country he is from).

Sorry to say but the only people who think this player is an asshole are the English, and the only reason is because Rooney made the mistake to step on someones crotch and got himself tossed from the game…
Ronaldo is one of best players at the moment, EPL is not a league for players who like to play with the ball at their feet, they play a more physical game in the EPL, that take away from the beautiful game…
The only reason he may seem like an asshole is because he is talented and he knows it…
Don’t hate the player, Hate the game for making him the great player that he is…
