Daily Football Transfer Rumours is an independent website that reviews Football Transfer Rumours from the English Premier League and from across the world. We review as many of the news sources as possible for the most up to date transfer rumours, and cast a critical eye over the source and the story and try to determine how accurate the article is.

The focus of our stories is primarily on the English Premier League, largely because that’s where we’re based, we speak the language, and the papers have plenty of time to make up all sorts of ludicrous nonsense to fill their pages.

It may seem that we’re slightly more critical of the information that comes from tabloids (that includes the Daily Mail in our view), but that is only because their journalists are lazy. This is not to imply that bastions of news journalism like the Telegraph and The Guardian are not lazy, they’re just less lazy.

We also attempt to peer into the murky world of football agents. But as most of those deals happen under bridges at midnight, those insights are few and far between.
